The forests of Avicennia marina

The forests of Avicennia marina lie to the north-west of the island of Qeshm and cover an area of ​​15 thousand square kilometers. These natural forests are an international protected area given that it is considered a precious habitat for many animal and plant species; mainly migratory birds live there and shrimps and other marine species are reproduced near them.
